    M2-style center console

I’m sure most of you already know about this template that has been floating around the web for a few years.I wanted put another option out there for all of you so I am sharing the template for my DIY center console delete

Version 1: This has all of the measurements needed to scale up the template manually. I’ve intentionally left the curved edges of this one so that it is easier to measure and draw to size.

Version 2: Download and print the following PDFs in either US Letter or International A4 sizes and join the pages to create a full size template. The complete template is also downloadable for anyone who has the ability to print large scale image.

36x24 Take this into a Staples and they should be able to print it out an engineering print for a couple of dollars. FedEx office also offers this service but I can find the details about cost and available sizes online.

Note: The Eunos trim ring will not fit around the rubber upper shift boot, if you are going to use one of these trims, it is necessary to raise the carpet by roughly an inch or use an aftermarket upper shift boot.

    NICE!
I notice when the center console is removed, the sound from the trans gets a lot louder (my dead resonator doesn't help either). Does this dampen any sound?

I haven't really done any comparison so I can't say if there is much difference between using this or using nothing at all, but you should be able to get away with hiding some sound deadening underneath if you are woried about noise.
