Question High DuckTail Spoiler for NA Miata (Gauging Interest)

Anyone interested in a high spoiler like this but with the 3rd brake light?

Saito-san is working with some companies in Japan to make one. He wanted to know if there is any interest.

Most likely he will work with Murase-san on this project as he already makes the widebody M2-1006 Kit in Japan.

I think if someone would make a ducktail spoiler with quarter extensions, it'd look better. I've always liked how the R-pack spoiler extended over the quarters just a bit and followed the lines of them.

Without the quarter extensions, the ducktail spoilers, while still looking great, break up the flow of the body lines of the rear to my eyes.

I've been wanting a YSCC for a while so I'd be interested, with or without brake light. All the other high ducktails on the market are just not quite right to me.

Interesting but I doubt I could actually pull the trigger on something like this. I'd have to see a lot more pictures to be won over.

The plan is to use a similar design like this and make a high ducktail version.

I've got the YSCC ducktail on my corns car. I like the retro nature of it.

Very are: afaik that's a pitcrew exhaust as looks the same as I have.

I'm not a huge fan of the super upright spoiler. it can be done right, why not a flatter spoiler like the do luck trunk for the WRX? GV makes a somewhat similar but less aggressive trunk for the NA.

i second the subtle extended trunk lip like the one above. though, i would like to point out that the WRX sedan in which the car is pictured, is generally more boxier in shape than the Miata, which is round, so the trunk may not suit well with the Miata's lines, per se. i'm not really a fan of high angled duck tail spoiler/trunks, like Autokonexion's current "NASCAR style 3pc" version.. but i'm not really against the idea at the same time. i feel like spoilers like that, require fender flares to offset the visual disruption of the car's natural lines that is caused by the spoiler/trunk.

Think you maybe right. Arches are need to pull the whole look together. Reference the spoiler above GV sell its a m2 item. I thought about it for one of my cars. Would like to see one on a car either here or in the UK.

Here's a reference pic of the GV 1006 trunk. I think if this one were slightly more upright, and obviously at friendlier prices, could be a huge seller.

You're talking about the axis power racing trunk.

You mean Jason? From the East Coast? He makes really nice parts, but you have to wait a very long time for the parts to be made, and pre-pay in advance. Hummmmm kinda like parts from Japan, but here in the USA.
