17X10, 4X100, and affordable. Does it exist

I'm looking for a 17X10 wheel in 4X100 that isn't custom made, a Rota, a Forgeline(CCW, etc). Most likely looking for something in the neighborhood of 20mm offset. I would like a decent wheel that is <$500/wheel.

Before we get into a debate about 15" vs 17", the reason I'm looking for the 17" is there are a greater range of performance and/or race tires available in 17" where as in 15" the widest commonly found street tire is 225 and 275 in a race tire.

I've been looking and the majority of the choices range in price from $740 to $1500+ Per wheel. More than I would like to spend since I will most likely be buying 2 set initially.

Tell me what y'all know of

You might have a little more room with your NB but the biggest issue is tire height. I'd love to run 275/40/17s but they won't fit, even with my N2 flares.

Yeah those wheels on the silver car and the green car are in the $1k/wheel neighborhood. I wouldn't put the XXR's on my garbage can. Did just read 12 pages of somewhat useful info on MT.net.

I may need to revisit what tire sizes are available for 16's....

Yeah I don't think a 275/40/17 is going to fit on a NB either without tubing the front of the car or running an excessively high ride height. 245/40/17 maybe. I'll try fitting one up this week

Even if the hub would fit the upright the position of the hub face would have to exactly the same to get the caliper to line up with the rotor. Then the rotor hat would have to be designed to clear the hub and drill in 5X114. Not simple for me

Can't link from my phone but check out the SSR Professor MS1R. 17x10.5. Vivid Racing has them for $665. Don't think you'll find much cheaper than that. You can find some great 17s for the rear of a Lotus but they ain't cheap.
Miata family: '93 auto "Blacky", '99 turbo "Frankenstein" and '05 Mazdaspeed.

Depending on your weight goals. XXR have 17x9.75 for cheap. I bought one for test fitting.

Being that it would be for street use, the weight wouldn't be my biggest concern.
What size tire is that? Looks like it's stretched

It's not stretched too bad. It's a 235/40 but I planned on getting a sticky tire that would of ran wider.

But I remember there is another size 245 I think. That would work.

But a 17x9 would be nice and a 235/40 would be great mine is +20
On a nb. So maybe +25. Or just x9.

Here is a picture on unrolled fenders
