Thanks Phatmiata. It's great to be finally on the home straight after a 7 year hiatus.

A bit of topside action in the last week.

    Cheers,
    Danny

A bit of localised exhaust heat management.

The carbon fibre body and aero components are finally finished...it only took the best part of 8 years!

W O W is all I can say. Having worked with composites for a couple of years, the quality of what you have there is jaw-dropping. I bet it required a ton of prep work on molds to actually make that. Extremely impressed.

Not terribly original but I’ll second that WOW. Danny, did you ever look in to carbon for NA’s?

Thanks HarryB. I'm very happy to have finally completed this part of the project.

Hi Pete, no I never looked any further than this just being a "one off" for my NC....the quality of the moulds to produce many items was an additional cost I wasn't prepared to take on as I had zero interest in commercialising the body kit. As such I didn't consider aero parts for any other Miata/MX-5 generations.

    Cheers,
    Danny

    Jaw dropping work, seriously incredible.

Will you add strakes to the rear diffuser, or did they provide no added benefit in CFD?
