    2000 NB Miracle Edition

    Hi!
My name is Ricardo, 27 and i'm from The Netherlands.
Have been lurking around these forums for years and thought i finally made a build thread.

Currently I own a Grace Green NB8 from 2000 and it's a Miracle Edition (German version of the US 2000 SE). This is my third MX5 that i own. Previously i had a black '95 NA8 and later a green '98 NB8.

Still had the NB when i found this. But I just had to have this one because it is a Miracle Edition, it had some nice parts and it was dirt cheap.

    Some of the parts:
    Schrick cams
    IDOL throttle body
Lightweight flywheel and upgraded clutch (Still don't know what brand)
    IL motorsport big brake kit
    Braided brake lines
    Koni coilovers
    etc.

Someone put a lot of money in this car but sadly i don't know much more about this car.
Couldn't really ask the previous owner because of a language barrier but don't think he build it himself.

But it looked like this when i picked it up:

Really wasn't a fan of how it looked so i changed it back to stock and also put on my Ronal R15 wheels.

Welcome Ricardo! So does it no longer have the aftermarket front bumper/lights in the first pic? I rather like them and never seen that exact setup.

Nope for now it has stock bumpers.
I do have to say that it looks alot better in the photos then they do IRL and also they needed some work and a respray.

Both bumpers have been modded so no suprise that you've never seen it
The front bumper is the Aston Martin style but with molded Morette headlights.
The rear is a stock bumper with molded ATH (German company) parts.

I own this car for almost a year now and ofcourse did more to it then what i posted in my first post.
Mostly did small stuff and don't have photos of everything but here is some of it:

For my previous NB i bought a set of BC racing coilovers but never installed them.
Even though this NB already came with Koni Coilovers i still wanted to try a different set.
And i really hated how difficult adjusting the Koni's was.

Glad i did change the coilovers because this is how the Koni's looked

The car came with a modded cluster. It wasn't really my taste but i also had to change it because the headlight indicator wasn't visible (Also another reason why i had to change the front bumper back to stock). This has to work to pass the yearly dutch vehicle check..
Had a stock Miracle Edition cluster laying around so installed that for the time being.
After a while i still wasn't happy with it so i installed an 10AE cluster.

    And all the clusters together

Still don't exactly know what i want to do with the front of the car.
I have an oem lip that i still need to install but i also have this Viper style bumper and NB2 headlights laying around that came from my previous NB.
Think it could look good with some better fitting wheels but haven't tried it back on yet.

And lastly i got these things:

The adapter is for an 16v 4AGE, will save that for my KE70.

Friend of mine was selling his NB with some cool parts and also a lot of spare parts.
    Ofcourse i bought it

Here you can really see the crazy paint it has

Glad that its an 1.6 and the body needs more work then my green NB because i start to like how it looks...
But bought it only for all the parts so will be selling the car again.

Some of the other cool parts are these Destroy or Die arms and knuckles.

Test fitting the Work Equip 03's
Need to roll the fenders and buy some 10mm spacers to clear the front brakes.
