Thanks, I thought about it for a long time. The old school look for wheels is very attractive to me. The Enkei quality and availability swayed me to them. I am also glad I chose the silver wheels. The black spokes look good too, but the silver came out really nice.

From your signature, I see you have an NB. Nice cars to be sure, but for an effective retro look, you need the NA.... I think it's great to create the vintage, retro look with our roadsters. It's a refreshing change from the boy racer, drifter, or $hit can that some people prefer. My (unsolicited) advise if you want to pursue this endeavor, is to be patient, be thorough, do not cut corners and let your creativity guide you.

er. . .dude. Ignore the car in his signature and check out RetroModerns site or his HVAC buttons sale thread. His determination to get the details 'nailed' is amazing and his products are 'Benchmark' IMO . If you cut him he'd bleed 'old skool' like Chuck Norris!

Don't know if my Miata is retro/vintage/oldskool for your standards. But working towards a some kind of vintage European look....

Needs different wheels. Panasports, RBs, BBS RS/RM, Enkei 92, etc would help enhance the classic/retro look.

Fully aware of that..... But on the other hand i quite like these wheels... Oh well, getting there slowly, or perhaps not.

Agreed, overall theme of the car is spot on but the wheels are doing nothing for me. A wheel change will definitely transform the car.

    Those Enkeis look great.
I've been considering a set of enkei Apache for my Miata.

They are really nice. I love the Enkei quality too. If I had to do it over, I would really think hard about the 7" wheels with less aggressive offset....

Thanks Phat. It is a cowl induction setup using a prm filter and a home made snorkel. Its worth 8hp on the dyno. Some details are in this thread
