I'm basically an "audio" guy. I used to do DIY audio projects during my early years. I love listening to music during long drives. It makes the drive more relaxing and keeps the companion in the mood.

Here's a simple deadening install that could make your audio sound more pleasing without adding up on weight and messy set up.

Dynamat is the best sound deadening as far as I'm concerned.

You don't need the whole sheet/mat to cover the doors. You just need to cut portions that would significantly cover the holes on the door. You need not peel all of the back portions so that dirt and grime won't stick to it. Just a portion enough to stick the mat on to the doors.

a short video demonstrating the huge effect of the deadening

MIATA...incredibly fun to drive - as that is its only purpose for being.

Nice work mate. The sound audio quality from a MX5 has always been one of the poor factors.

As a fellow Tuckin99 N2 owner keep up the good work on your car. I hope you don't mind but I've shared photos of your car on my facebook photo gallery of Roadsters as is a great example.

Look forward to future updates in 2015.

Very nice, all this time I never knew you had a cage in the car

Did you get new wheels? I thought you had a 4 spoke wheel? These look bigger for some reason? What are the specs?
