Does anyone think Mazda will release a competitor to the 86/BRZ?

I think they have to to remain relevant. What form that will take, I'm not sure. The planned RX-7/8 replacement may be positioned in that slot.

I think the movement have to be for a small little cars, rear wheel drive platform and minimalist concept. The NA miata and first Gen RX7 are perfect example of this statement.
