    MiataRoadster Short shift kit

Replaced my KGWorks shifter with a MiataRoadster shifter kit. I had Bill custom make me a piece with no bend, no bell shaped housing and a much shorter shaft with a brushed steel finish. It's a really quality kit that uses less components than my KGWorks kit. The kit comes with everything you will need and installation is pretty straightforward. I've noticed its much smoother to shift than the KGWorks and also requires less effort.

Comparison of the MiataRoadster unit (left) and the KGWorks with extender (right).
I had to use a custom machined extension on the KGWorks because without it, it was just stupid hard to shift not to mention it being way too short. The MiataRoadster kit also has a built in collar for the upper shift boot neck which the KGWorks didn't.
