No doubt about the fuel rail.

Whenever I see some part of that car on someone else's ride, I feel a twinge of regret for letting it go. The tub was totaled (not while I owned it) but the parts live on. I had way too much into it. Hmmm, there seems to be a theme going on here.

I have been chasing problems on the car now know as Deviant. No time to work on my own stuff, beginning to look really doubtful that it will make MRLS.

I've never seen this thread up until today, and I must say this is really impressive. I love this car!

One question: why the 'NB tank mod'? Whats the difference?

NB tanks hold a couple more gallons of fuel. It also would be required for emissions if I ever decide to go through the California process of legalizing the engine swap.

Not a major thing... but nothing major really left. Took me many months of thinking about how to execute it.

That looks wonderful! How did you make the short parking brake handle?

    Take the stock one apart.
Figure out how short you can cut it. I think the return spring is what sets the length. Drill 2 holes on opposite sides of the handle and use 1/8" rivets as stops for the return spring. The difference between where the spring stop was originally and your new spring stop is how much you can remove.
Cut the inside of the handle. Measure and cut the plastic part and the rod; cut the same amount off of those as you did the handle. Re thread the rod end.
    Put it all back together.

I did this a long time ago, so it may not be completely accurate. It hit my leg in a bad spot so I changed it.

Have not updated this in a while. A couple of changes to the interior:

That picture refuses to resize. Grrrr....

I have some more parts for the interior but I have not been doing much with it since we spun a rod bearing while tuning it. As far as we can tell the ECU was losing CPM signal near redline, cutting spark but still fueling, and when it regained signal... bam. One small misfire and it has been parked for a couple of months.

So it is getting a new MS3Pro ECU to replace the MS3X (thanks to Emilio). Upping the compression, putting a flex fuel sensor in it, smaller pulley on the Rotrex, billet oil pump, Supermiata damper, 6 speed, new engine wiring harness(LOL)... Target is about 265 on E85. Should be fun.
