Took her around the block for the first time with the Xidas. Initial impression? Ooooh, this is nice. I think the more I drive her now the more I'm going to notice and appreciate.

My '91 BRG - no longer stock but a blast to drive :)

Here's my Miata - original owner but finally let my kids wear me down 4 years ago to move away from stock. Lowered the car, upgraded the interior with some leather and stuff, 99A wheels. Easy to convert back to stock.

Took a few pics with better lighting.

Starting to think about removing the front mudflaps. Still like them, but I've already heard them scrub a few times on hard corners or nasty pot holes. Think I might like her without them now that she's sitting lower.

You are sitting pretty low. Even with the R/LE ends, your bumpsteer has to be pretty noticeable, especially mid corner.

On a road that bumpsteer was pretty awful at stock height I haven't noticed any as she is now. And that was with it where it was in those pics. I was noticing it looked a little lower than I remeber setting it. She was down around 1/8". I have put her at 4-1/16" front and 4-5/16 rear about an hour ago. I know, 1/16" above the typical 4" front 4-1/4" rear, will it really matter? Eh, I just want a tiny bit extra, and it should help should it settle any further.

Which, I have found the only place I can get repeatable measurements is on the 4 post lift. Anywhere else and it's all over the place.

But, I'll try to be mindful of the bumpsteer. Not sure what the alignment will do for it either way.

What alignment specs are you going with?

I'm thinking a compromise between 949's street and dual duty numbers.

    So...

    Front 1.8 chamber
    >4.5 caster
    0 toe

    Rear 1.5 chamber
    0 toe

    Any recommendations?

Very good. I went a touch more aggressive on the camber for dual use . I think those settings will be excellent on your car.
