I have a 93 NA with stock 1.6 engine. At what rpm is the rev limiter set to come on???
Thanks for all answers in advance.

I might be wrong. But IFRC all NA's and NB's are 7200. 1.6 or 1.8 until 2005.
Not at work and just grabbed the Chilton's book to no avail. Anyone have more specifics?
7,200 is what everyone says, but look at any stock dyno graph and you can see it cuts at 6,900. This can be seen first hand with an OBDII reader on OBDII cars. I've seen 6,950 when I used a OBDII reader myself. The stock tach reads higher than it actual is.

I'm pre-OBD2 with my '95. That's why I wanted another to chime in. Thanks Jamie!
1.6 NA is 7200, 1.8 NA is 7000, IIRC.

My tach showed ~7,200 last time I bounced it off the limiter (revlimiter gauges). Not sure if the early 1.6s have fuel/spark cutoff before that though.
