    Product Review: Revlimiter Warbird Gauges

As most of you know, Adam (revlimiter) hosted his Sharksgiving sale back in November last year for his custom gauge faces. I've always wanted one but felt the money could be used on something else. When Adam advertised his Sharksgiving prices to public, I immediately contacted him and sent money to him without thinking twice.

Adam's customer service is GREAT. Emails were responded very quickly and questions were answered clearly. With all the orders he was receiving, I knew for sure I was going to have to wait a week or 2 to get them made. To my surprise, 3 days later, Adam emails me saying my gauges were done. He even went as far as confessing to me that my gauges would have been finished the previous day, but the cutting machine ate the gauges so he had to start over again. It's awesome to have a seller give you every bit of detail about your order from start to finish. A few days later, the gauges arrived to me and I set it aside to collect dust.

Fast forward to today, I finally had a free day where I felt productive and decided to man up and change out the faces.

    How I received the gauges.

Opened it up to see how the packaging was; it was A+.

    Everything opened up.

Then noticed this little note <3

A very well written tip form and some Revlimiter stickers.

    Random Domo's. Lol.

Started taking off what I needed in order to get to the cluster. Was super scared I was going to break the cluster hood. I was able to breathe again when it came off without any problems.

Out you go, ugly M-Edition cluster!

Although the cluster hood didn't break on me, something else had to. I was wiping away dust and dirt from inside when a bottom tab for the cluster hood snapped off without any pressure on it. I was sad.

I brought the cluster into my room to start the surgery.

I was scared of breaking these needles. Thank God for those neat little blue tools that came with the gauge faces.

This needle target practice was funny.

Another scary moment was breaking this casing for faces not using the stock 7 o'clock needle position. It's needed to allow light to hit the bottom of the RPM gauge face. I could have done a better job, but I didn't have any needle nose pliers as suggested in the instructions.

The scariest task was the needle stopper. Thank God there were only 2 to do. I felt like my hands were shaking x10 more than they should have been during this process and I was sweating real good. I did fuck up on one needle (you can see it in the pictures, it's crocked). But I won't let it bother me too much.

And with the lights on! One from driver view (sorta) and the last one is a close up view.

All in all, I give this product a 10 out of 10. Quality is amazing. Although it is tedious work, the installation is a breeze if you follow Adam's online instructions. I would recommend Adam's products and service to anyone. You won't be disappointed!

Speaking of quality, I felt like I was reading Adam's blog. Very good write up Dilly. I have set of his Revolver gauges and I love the hell out of them. I might have to swing for Warbird gauges in the future though.

It's also nice to see he's stepped his game with packaging and adding helpful tools to make the job easier. Adam is a top notch vender and a hell of great guy. Can never say enough good things about him.

Just saw this on the other board. THANK YOU SIR!!!! Totally awesome review thread!!!

I hope you get years of enjoyment out of those gauges. They're definitely an upgrade from the M faces, if I may be so bold. But I'm of the opinion that the stock faces are an upgrade to those as well. =)

And Sharka sends kisses to Kayla.
