i already peeled it off and resprayed with satin black paint.

pretty much, I was reading the tips over on dyc and it sounds like it's kinda picky about the way it gets sprayed.

tried sanding it to smooth it out a bit, didn't work, now I'm peeling the whole hood, not sure if I want to try the dip again, or just respraypaint it.

it looks better in the pic than it does irl.

i'm glad you're posting this, one of my rear calipers is leaking, and i think i would rather rebuild it than buy a reman caliper.
