A handy tool for cleaning HLA's is an ultrasonic jewellery cleaner. Flushes the crud out without having to strip them down to the smallest parts, just dismantle the two parts of the plunger and give...

Yes I believe they can, as long as the LHD stalks are straight. The engraving will have to be reversed but that's no problem.
Post up a picture of your LHD set up.
Hi all, sorry it's been so long but business took over my life for a few months.
Anyway, I saw the metal spinner last Saturday and discussed options and unfortunately it's a complete no go with spun...
On a 1.6 you could always dump the CAS for a crank trigger set up (+MS)
Hi guys, sorry for not being around, been a bit hectic my end with work.
Solid billet stalks for the US market looks like a no go but spun alloy covers is a possibility. These will have to be done...
Drain the oil and see if any lumps come out :(
Best look I had was with the roof down in the rain
I've had an idea that might work.
Previously mentioned about spinning covers that could be glued on but came across the problem of the inner cover being too long to go over the bend in the stalks....
I'm thinking billet or even cast ally might be worthwhile making:winky:When I get the chance to see a guy I know with CNC mills.
Sorry guys, not had much time to play around but I think the bent version of stalks could work out pretty expensive :?
Covers will be a no go I'm afraid. There's too much of a bend and not enough clearance to get the inside cap up and around the bend.
Or try MX5 Dan's alloy ones, does them in LHD. Think it works out at $125 plus delivery at cost.

Had another look at the NB stalk set and I think it might be too awkward and expensive to make up billet sets, another alternative I'll look into is having some two part covers to go over the...
It certainly is an ignition cover plate. The centre on the one I made sits in a recessed section on the back, no way can it fall out. It's for a friend and should fit nicely by just using thick...
The centre fell off  How was it supposed to be held on?
If you could tell me the dimensions I could probably make it but it sounds like it'll only fall off again.
Sounds like I should...
Actually it's added black, needed to break up the tan hence the seat covers as well.
That engine bay is a complete chrome whore's dream, the cam cover took me about 30 hours to polish...
Any left ???
Easiest to post the thread links here but I've been making these:

That is a serious bargain, named brands like Mishimoto would have cost something like 4 or 5 times as much for all that kit.
Did spot a similar kit in the UK on Ebay for around $2000 :toomuch:
Here ya go.

Tried to take the switch out of the NB set I have and it all went pearshape, accidently broke the contact ring
Might be easier to use an aftermarket 3 position switch and make it all fit.:?
