yes.. it was with baited breath for that 1st start up today!

..so anyway, after sitting since April, we finally have a Spec Miata again ready for action!

...had a small hick-up with the wrong...

still moving along..

...replaced water pump, full timing belt kit + misc other bits to make sure all is up to snuff on the replacement engine before going in.. new flywheel and clutch too
...

..back from the dead, this engine is getting put together this labor day weekend and hopefully all goes well so it is ready to go back to the track this year still!

In case anyone is wondering.. the car is still sitting and waiting for its replacement engine (working on replacing an engine in the g20 1st)

I wonder how many of those NAs are still in existence? Seeing those numbers makes me realize and understand why you still see so many NAs out there though!

Another German fan here (grew up with VWs and had several Audi's myself over the years) YET I've also owned many miata's (currently still owning Miata #9 and just sold Miata #10 I had briefly owned) ...

..except you do have to drill 3 holes on the momo wheel I would think?

My 1st questions as well! And is the firewall getting rewelded so there is still going to be an actual firewall I would hope. I can't imagine that big hole and passing tech to get a logbook like...

^ that'll work if you have space but I honestly don't see that huge return on investment unless the economy gets a whole lot better in a hurry

I'm often surprised how many people don't seem to take 100% rust free into consideration because they either don't know or want to know what 'a small rust bubble' really...
