All the changeable maintenance items ( plugs,filters,etc )....then a Roadster exhaust, so I can enjoy the sound.

I agree with BrendanJ, I had Datsuns ( 2- Z's, 240 and 280 ). But, after 10 yrs, wanted a roadster.
Initially was going for a Z3 BMW, but research of maintenance costs.....not a good choice. Miata's...

Lots of fabric softner sheets. PO felt it kept the mice away....NOT. Large mouse nest near the gas tank
above the rear right shock tower. An unbrella and an adapter for the Cassette player to attach...

Think I fixed it. I did find the evap box under the car, located the solinoid valve, gave it a shot of WD-40 in
both ends, reset the code and it has not returned.

I had a PO455 code ( large evap leak ) on my 99 Miata last month. Replaced the purge
valve near the canister. No more 455 code, BUT then codes 446, 171 and 1450 showed up !
Have done the research...

Just another suggestion, if your looking for a good daily driver, my other Mazda is a 2010 mazda 3- 5 door hatchback.
It's been flawless ! Sporty yet functional...lots of space, handles the twistys...

Just put the Roadster 3 on my 99 NB, to be able to hear the tone of the engine. Pleased so far. Much better
than stock. Fit perfectly.

For what its worth, I just got my first Miata. Its a 99 NB, 5 spd sport. 98K odo, runs very strong, tight and love it.
Only $5 K for it. I'm hooked ! Go for it.

Just had the local auto shop install a set of rear brake pads during the recent

Thanks to all. The Miata I got was because of the Dayton wire wheels. They are different and I now
learn, are expensive. So, the $5 k car was well worth it.
Handles better than the Z. Guess 24...

Just got a 99 NB, with the Bose sound system, the CD player will not work.
Are these good systems worth fixing ? or for the same $$ , install a more modern
aftermarket unit.
