BP motor, what size cone can I use?

The previous owner of my car had an absolutely horrible looking filter on the car. They deleted the box and clamped the filter onto the maf.

From what i've seen this is pretty common, but im not a fan of it. I'd like a replacement stock air box, but cant afford one at the moment. But does anyone know what ID filters work for this? I hate oiled filter so im looking for some type of dryflow that will fit on there.

I'd sell you my OEM airbox and crossover tube from a 1.8 if you'd like

Or buy yourself a K&N cone filter and slap it on.

Why not just deal with the oil soak filter? Don't they run a lot better than others? Maybe you can find a foam panel filter?

Because every used oil analysis I've seen has shown higher amounts of silicone in the oil meaning more debris is getting into the motor.

I ont see the same thing with dry type filters.
