Mellow Yellow : Daily Driven Utility Roadster

    MELLOW YELLOW
Picked up this 1990 roadster for $900 with the intent to be a daily/cheap DIY project car.
Obviously not a sunburst yellow due to the year, but for the price I couldn't resist.

To date haven't done much to it, she came with a roll bar, unsure which kind?

Bought the car with a very terrible misfire. Pulled the plugs out saw they were soaked in oil.
So walked in the garage rummaged through my spare parts, found a valve cover gasket, spark plugs, Bosch plug wires , and a PVC valve . Free maintenance!
Also installed clear depot bumper lights I had laying around, as well as the GV lip that came with the car.

Not much else I can remember. But haven't spent a penny on modifications/maintenance yet thanks to the black car.

    perfect color match!

Couple more shots, itsproper brown bubble shift knob to match the wooden ebrake handle. Was given to me by my friend with an s14.

Also in the middle of painting these wheels a light gunmetal color, 16x8 et 25 ssr type c's and a free pair of 205/40/16 falken azenis. So far wheels and tires total $50

New brakes and trying on the shoes, they just need a couple more layers of paint, clear coat and then lay down the ssr type c stickers!

Not much to update, finally got the rest of the wheels painted , stickers layed down and cleared. Now just need to order 2 more tires, the rears will be wearing some snow shoes since I will daily drive this car through the winter. Then it's off to mount and balance the tires at work !

Also got my hub adapter, and h4 conversion headlights. Now if someone would just post some cheap Coilovers to the classifieds I'll be satisfied! Lol

So got to do a little maintenance to the ol gal after work this week. Changed the oil, switched to some 10w30 Mobil 1. Flushed the gearbox with 75w90 gear oil ( probably going to change to mt-90)
    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1418503782.254807.jpg
Then flushed my brake fluid and clutch fluid with this stuff. Idk if it makes anything better but I can't read it so it's gotta be good stuff right? Right.
    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1418503894.650511.jpg
Then found this under the carpet lol! Ohio truck plate, presumably from a 18-wheeler? Idk still cool.
Then this morning after our snow flurry I decided it'd be a good idea to throw the snows on ImageUploadedByTapatalk1418503982.016600.jpg
It's a monster truck! Holy Sh*t I hate it but love it all at the same time.

Well I put some ebay h4 conversion headlights in last night at work. Overall I'm satisfied with them for the price, $16 for the assemblies. Haven't noticed much improved visibility aside from when the high beams are on. Shoukd hopefully be a lot better once I get some nicer quality bulbs in there.
