    FM (STB) Review

This is a really nice item. In my opinion it's worth the money, I was expecting this STB to reduce (NVH) and it did just that. In addition, the front end felt tighter & more rigid. You can't really notice the stiffness of the front end until you're taking the turns.

The FM (STB) are super beefy, they are bomb proof like a crowbar. They are heavier than the ebay (STB) that I was using with my Racing-beat Intake. It's so beefy that if one of these FM bars were drilled to the side of a cliff and I had no choice but to hang on to them, I would trust them with my life. The powder coat finish is nice, I just hope that the white FM stickers on the bar will last. More pics will be posted later.

I got one. After listening during FM's summer camp in 2013, all the engineering that went into this bar, I'm convinced is the best STB for NA/NB Miatas, barnone.

I especially appreciate my bar, every time I drive over railroad tracks, which here in CO are just about everywhere!

^ I wish FM would make something for the back end. I'm looking to upgrade to a beefier roll bar to help stiffen up the rear. I only have a basic hoop for now, which doesn't extend to the rear wheel well like most roll-bars. And there is no way I'm using my overkill Autopower cage. Same here. I drive through a few RR tracks on my way to school, and I notice the front end feeling more solid.

I have the FM bar and master cylinder brace both made differences in the functions they are intended to improve.

BoBo is talking about a rear shock tower brace. As far as I know, no one makes a solid RSTB, probably because of clearance.

The Cannon brace won't work in any NA8. Welcome back, Gar!

Oh, look. It even tells you that in the product description. Please accept my apologies, OP.

    Exactly,
I might try Carbing RSTB or put a lower tie bar. I'm a little hesitant because my RB exhaust might not clear the tie bar.

No worries We're All Friends Here ,

I ordered the butterfly brace a while back, but a big storm is suppose to be coming down my area anytime soon. I will probably install it some other time. I read a post on M.net about someones brace getting caught from the bottom, even on stock springs. Hopefully that doesn't happen to me.

Same here, I bought the FM bar with the master cylinder brace. I'm excited about the master cylinder brace and it's intended purpose, but until I receive the Technafit brake lines & FM Springs, I'm gonna hold off on installing it. Hopefully I get it all by next week. It has been raining here all week, it sucks when you don't have a garage lol.

I'm still debating about getting another commuter car or Pulling the trigger on the FM built motor. I really want that motor, but it sucks when you have limited funds and like other things as well lol.
