I use Aperture 3 for most my basic editing/organization and Photoshop CS5.1 when they need a little more. I've tried almost everything out there and personally for my OS I like this setup the best.

I use Picasa 3 for storage/organizing/light editing (cropping, etc), Lightroom 2.7 for editing, and GIMP for anything involving layers.

I have cs5 and lightroom, but I seem to be using this program on steam called CameraBag2 for some interesting effects. It looks like a instagram like program at first, but it is much more powerful and fully adjustable.
