    New to me '97 Black

So about a month ago I bought a 1997 Black 5spd with 65K on the clock.
Top was slashed, rotors were rusted pitted paint was neglected for 5 years, no door panels no passenger seat broken plastic everywhere, and about an inch of water in the tub.

Little by little I have been working to get her back to drivable condition.
    Some before and after pics.

    Latex paint does come off.

I added door panels, speaker surrounds, door cups, Jass window switches and the MOMO.

Plan is to continue with updates and replacements to be able to drive it. AC compressor is toast, Check engine light is on code P1794, needs wheels and tires, and a radio. And a decent nose, hood and deck lid.

Someone did a good sell job on bars and coilovers.
    It has Teins.
The bar is going soon, homemade and the top will not go all the way down. I have a style bar from England that will replace it.

Might want to order up a replacement radiator ASAP. The TYC one on amazon is a great on the cheap replacement made by Koyo.

As it sits today with the RB nose, decided to use it.

Not the most flattering pic of her

From an earlier build that I had laying around I installed the Satur rolled hoops with wind blocker

Finally got around to installing the MOMO I picked up in New Zealand, feels nice in the hand. Tiny horn button though. It was a bit of work.

And a Retro Modern oil cap, It's the best Jerry, it's the best.

On the '90 I added a Nardi Euro Spec wheel (from my NewZealand trip) and RetroModern's dimmer adjuster wheel

That's it for now. Yoko 08s on the way on 15x7 refinished Panasports soon for the '90, will have to sell the 15x8 6ULs with 888s.

Never liked it on the tombstone and I never used it, so I moved them.
Not terribly difficult. The switch came out of rather a 323 or an 626 from similar years as the 1990 it went into. The pop up headlight switch is disabled and they only come up with the headlight switch being on now.

    Thanks.
I repainted the trunk lid and patch painted the upper part of the urethane OEM nose, I may replace the RB again. The hood has a few spots and am contemplating how to proceed to repair them. Patch paint ? Or strip and repaint ?
