    WTB: Monsterflow Coolbox for Miata

I know it may be a stretch...but I'm looking for a Monsterflow CoolBox to use with my Monsterflow intake.

Figured I'd try to look for one before trying to make my own...somehow.

If I may be so bold - you're far better off making your own. The MF ones have a huge open back that lets in hot air. The one on my NB heatsoaked after 10 minutes.

Get some cardboard and some thin kebab skewers. That's the easy way to prototype a heat shield. You can find the door edging on amazon.

I agree, Adam. I read your blog post about making your own cool box. Something to consider for myself...

I did a super tiny intake isolator on my NB's D-Tech intake not long ago.

This was the coroplast prototype. I stuck kebab skewers into it to measure the hood height.

I turned it into this little ABS panel.
