A clear lens on a silver NB may look pretty good.

That's a bold plan. I can't wait to watch it unfold.

With blacked out tail lights I wanted a brighter 3rd light too but didn't want to spend the $$ for brighter bulbs. I know most folks wouldn't do it this way but I used 4 x 30cm Waterproof Flexible LED strips that have a black background off ebay and stuck them on the roll bar.

They show more than I planned even the black background.

In bright sun they are not as bright as I would like but for $2.77 shipped I am very happy with them. This shot is at dusk with the 4 ways on so you are seeing turn signals in the factory lights not the brakes.

From a distance they really don't show unless they are on.

That's pretty interesting. You ever get pulled over for them being so different?

Yes, Clear on a Silver car, or White car looks great, but for me a Black car would look to Pandaish

+1^ I had clear on my black car and hated it. The lenses were the focal point and I wanted them understated - like the rest of the car.

I've never been pulled over but considering the trucks you see with 1000 lights on them I can't see why it would be a problem.

I bet saying that pulled over part just ruined my weekend...

I finally had a weekend off to do stuff on the car so I fitted the Equips, finally fitted the KG works trunk spoiler, added cheap vent rings, installed Retromodern Eunos door pulls (still need to do the door cards in imitation Nakamae diamond pattern), added "roadster" door scuff plates and threw in the red/black checker mats. The interior needs more metal to break the black scheme. Oh, also added the Eunos nose emblem. Now I need the trunk Eunos and roadster emblems. I had been hoarding this parts for months and it was soooooo nice to get them on. Thanks to Randy for the help sourcing some of the parts. :-)

So good! The combo is perfect. You should remove the key hole, get a internal pull thing. Would clean it up even more! And a shorty bumper! And Remove the bodyline. And remove the fuel lid (just get a new neck for it so you can fuel from the trunk.

I might have gone a bit overboard with my dreams now...

So i took a chance and bought these new door pull/openers from a company called Matos Motors. They added me on Instagram and i decided to check out what they had. Found these 3D printed door openers and they are pretty sweet. And easy to install lol. They replaced the entire door locking and opening cup/mechanism with a lockable pull strap opener. I like that it matches the rest of my interior too.
