What did you do to your NB today 2013?

Just finished up my video from the second event I ran in the Miata and my first PAX win in 6 years of autocrossing!

During the PAX winning run I was %100 sure that I hit a cone hard enough to knock it well out of the box even if it somehow had stayed vertical but after taking my frustration out on the steering wheel I finished the run strong and the margin of victory was only .08 of a second!

They're the silver Spooled. I just chopped the wheels from Ciotti's thread. I wanted the wider wheel, but I also wanted them to be lighter than my current setup at least.

I definitely be looking at a different set if you are grabbing them. Can't be exactly twins can we. I have my eye on other wheels as well so we will see. I'm wanting my SSR Comps again.

I have a mesh bikini top that I made that works great in keeping out the sun and letting the air flow still. All it needs is a front bow. PM me if you are interested.

fffuuu!! Go to pick up my VC gasket, they ordered a 1.6 gasket rather than a 1.8. Have to wait til tomorrow to get that.

Started doing the rear brakes, need a new passenger side caliper since the piston won't retract.

While doing the timing belt, removed the sway bar at the mounting brackets because it goes right in front of the crank bolt and we needed to get the impact on it; endlinks exploded.

Then go to fill the coolant and run it. Look underneath and see waterpump is leaking now. Need to rip it apart and try again.

Ordering a new water pump gasket tomorrow as well as a new caliper.

Changed the diff fluid though, as well as the trans fluid. Don't know the last time those were changed.

My driver's rear piston had the same issue. Luckily I scored all four calipers (hardly used) for cheap off a CR member. I hated the idea of having to send out your old calipers plus a deposit in order to get new ones. Which reminds me, I'll probably just swap over the other three new-to-me calipers soon. I only did the one since so far since it needed it.

Yea, I got pretty excited because the first 3 corners went so well; but then with how my day was going and how all the maintenance on the car was going this weekend I figured there was something that would have to go wrong, and there it was lol.

I have a couple friends that have accounts at a local parts store since they are mechanics and can get discounts for me so I shouldn't have to pay full price which will be kind of nice.

Hopefully things go a little smoother on the car tomorrow though; I'm glad I finally got around to doing all this maintenance on the car since I don't know the last time it had any of this done. The coolant was actually brown and was the worst smelling coolant I've ever experienced. The trans and diff fluid were also disgusting.

^That's usually how it works for me too haha. And that's cool that your friends would hook you up. I'm ordering maintenance stuff for mine as well. Plugs, wires, VC gasket, and hopefully gonna install the new fuel filter I've had for a few months now

I actually had their site bookmarked for my new wheel studs. Guess I'll check out some of their other stuff!
