That is a pretty awesome story. Like the Miata this is another timeless Japanese car. So well designed, it doesn't get old. Definitely looking forward to seeing your progress on this one.

You know that we love other cars than Miatas so nothing wrong with posting a great AE86 feature here! As long as there's a live engine and at least one driving wheel, people here will love it anyway. Hardly anyone here started out as a Miata diehard. I even had a Chrysler LeBaron back in the day because Ricardo Montalban was pretty badass on Fantasy Island.
