Power Steering Delete Plug Size Help

Looking for the thread size for the delete plugs...

Of course the guys selling them don't have it listed as I am thinking it isn't something to commonly found...have struck out locally at Fastenal, Napa, and another local parts store...

    Thanks for any help...

The big ones are m16x1.5 and m14x1.5. I used oil drain plugs. I can't remember the length but they were probably the shortest I could because they are still a bit long. The smaller are a weird size like m10x1.0 or m12x1.0 so I just cut and crimped the old pipe.

The problem with that PS hole is that it s not a round hole but rather a square/rectangular shape opening therefore the plug that goes there is square/rectangular shaped at the back side of the plug. So if you want a proper fit you may have to source the original one. I think I saw one posted over at Planet Miata at one point for $5.00.

Or you can get a 1.5"-2" plug cut the back side and glue it over.

Here pardon the incorrect measurement it is actually 1.25" in diameter (ignore the measuring tape my hand shook when I took the pic lol) but you can see the square/rectangular shape back side.

LOL shame on me I just woke up from a long night shift. I hunted this PW cable plug so this all what is in my head. You are talking about the delete plugs for the rack and pinion itself.
