It is pretty fun, but I would have top recommend against supercharging. It's fun and all. But I feel a proper turbo with real management would destroy this set up. I get 20 mpgs, run rich everywhere, and I only see 150 horses. Not trying to dis the fun of the thing, but in the long run it isn't worthwhile.

Morr, I WANT TO SEE YOU THERE!

You are forgetting you are running this S/C on a car with a 20 year old engine...... I think if you just add an intercooler and maybe get a Methenol Injection setup you will destroy most cars on the street errrrrr I mean track.

Here is a Miata running a S/C with Methanol Injection

Besides then you can say my Miata is on "Meth" yO! Then get a sticker for the intake runner that says "Breaking Bad"

About two weeks ago I drove in a meth head gt500 with a Whipple supercharger.
That thing was stupid. Missed 4th on the interstate and I thought I was going to die.

I have been thinking about my car quite frequently as of late. Last time I wrote about her I posted that she had grown up, revealed her real name and was a lady. I think that was an excuse on my part because I didn't want to realize the truth. She has become muddled, confused and unrefined. I feel that I have just thrown parts at my car in hopes to make it awesome. Don't get me wrong, I love my car. But, something just isn't right. My girlfriend told me that I took away what made my car great. I blew it off. But, she then told me that I took my car, added all these things and took away what made the car great. The simplicity.

Well, I have to say she was right. That is why I'm starting over again. I want Amy back. The car that was fun to drive and didn't have all these things to worry about. The interior of the car will stay. I like what I have done on the inside... minus a few things....

The outside of the car is literally a cluster f*** of parts. I have all these different ideas and they aren't working. The new goal is to bring fun Amy back, with subtle refinement and that wows at the same time. What really is motivating me to do this is actually my friends stock miata. I love everything about it. The way he can beat on it, have fun, and not care. He doesn't have a lip, wheels, sideskirts, etc and loves the car. I love it too, actually. That is the feeling I miss. I look at other cars in envy and wonder where I went wrong. The thing is, I was so caught up in getting all these cool parts and changing my Miata into something it isn't. I feel like this rant has become a revelation, a catharsis even. I'm excited to work on my Miata again and create the car I really want.

For those who read this, thank you.

I don't own a camera anymore and there is nothing to take pictures of.

The car has no more sideskirts, lip, low pros and chrome stuff on the inside. Soon she will be on daisies again.

Damn straight. Time to remember why a Miata is such a great car.

I like the 94 stock wheels better than the daisys, or if you want classy OEM get the OEM BBS wheels from the 92SE or 93LE, or even the BBS from the 95M.

If your cars paint was still red you could pull off the daisy wheels, but with that fancy color paint I think the BBS wheels would look muy bueno

The end goal isn't to keep the stock wheels. They are temporary while I sell mine for something I have always wanted.
