1990 JDM Eunos Roadster

I should not have done this but I have bought another MK1 MX5s. I have bought it unseen and had it trailered back from Newquay, Cornwall to near London. It is a 2009 import 1990 MK1. Key reason for buying is I like the wheels. I has 13' Hayashi Street alloys. It also has some other nice parts including a centre exit exhaust from Japan, TL Lane roll bar, lowered Potanza springs/shocks, black hard top, a JASMA approved manifold (read JDM), good soft top and is low mileage. It has been parked up for the last 18 months so wont start! It is looking like the Pink Panther right now and until I see first hand cannot comment on overall condition but here are a couple from a few years ago.

Parts wise I could do with some help spotting parts. It appears to have:

13x7 Hayashi Racing Street Alloys 4x100.
Pitcrew or is it Zoom Engineering centre exit exhaust. Any ideas.
TR Lane Roll bar (Bit like a hard dog bar).
JDM exhaust manifold (not sure of the brand).
K&N Induction kit.
Strut brace (not sure and photo not the best)
It also has lowering springs (not coilovers)
hard top and good soft top.

However is a non runner. headlights come on the dash but immobliser seems to not be disengaging as whilst it looks like it has the dashboard lights are not coming on.

I don't think the exhaust is pitcrew or zoom, it's something else.

I don't spot anything you havn't listed. The headlight lid is a weird one. Good buy for the wheels, hardtop and exhaust!

James have you seen any mazdaspeed hardtops pop up in the uk lately?

Thanks mate. Car came in from Japan with the bits fitted. It needs a clean and why it won't start but pretty cheap and worth a punt for the parts. Manifold has the Jasma mark from another photo I have and I guess exhaust to be pitcrew or zoom but need some better photos I guess.

Not seen any Mazdaspeed hard tops for sale since I sold mine. Saw another kanspo like my 2 but not another mazdaspeed. I know someone who has one so could see if he would sell it
