What changes need to be done to the kit so it fit into a lhd car?

That's been a popular mod here for us LHD Miatas because the wiper mechanism is on the right side. I have seen pictures of it in RHD Miatas but I think it involved the wiper moter being on the left side.

Do you have a RHD MX-5?

it works perfectly for both LHD and RHD cars. the NoPro/Suzuki cappuccino bottle is used mostly on RHD cars you just have to secure it to the drivers side and extend the wiring. You actually need to adapt it a little for LHD cars I hear as I believe the brackets you get are for holes found on RHD drivers side of the engine bay. Anyways its not that its a hard thing to adapt its just a bottle.

Thanks. Actually what I was about to post that url. I was to late.

Worst case I can throw away all just install the bottle according to Adam's well written how-to.

I have a LHD Mx5/Miata. Engine, gearbox and rear-diff are from a Miata, rest is from a Mx5.

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread, but I was wondering if people have had any luck on using PT Cruiser washer bottles in the past. Judging by photos, their shape seems well-suited to the MX5 cowl.

OEM washer fluid pump fits like a glove!

I originally had the bottle as far to the driver side as possible but the hinge was hitting the washer bottle lid so I had to move it over....

....I was able to use a hole that had a plastic holder for a brake line and removed the plastic holder and slightly bent the line out of the way and opened up the hole just a little bit more for a bolt.

Clearance of the reservoir to the wiper arm at its most extended position was approx. 0.25''.

I was also able to reuse all the OEM lines and fittings but removing the lines and basically flipping them to where the original driver side is now on the passenger side and the passenger side fittings/lines is now on the driver side but I did remove the last 90* fitting and the line aft the fitting.

I went to my local picknpull today and picked up a pt cruiser windshield washer container .I also pick up some mazda tribute washer nozzles along with all the piping because mine was all worn out. Total cost was 11.00. The pt cruiser tank is to big. Not going to fit. So I will probably just clean it up and sell it on ebay. But it was atleast worth a shot.

Thanks for the update, a pity it won't fit cause Cappucinno/GoPro prices are over the top for (essentially) a plastic reservoir of the right shape!
