    I think the first one which comes to the mind of 99% of car enthusiasts would be the most famous Cobra of all time, which would be the 427 Shelby from the 60's.

    That might be so but i guess my thought process is different.

    Sure the Shelby AC Cobra is the most famous but how many people do you personally know that has or have owned one? How often do you see them on the road?

    This logic is the same reason i don't think of the Fox body Cobra and the reason i think of either the quad cam 4.6 Mustang Cobra or the Terminator....but that's just me i guess.
