    Edit: one google search later:

youll also need to by a 3" pvc hanger thing in the plumbing section of your local hardware store.. its called a "dwv hanger". looks like this:

they ussually have a twist in them. put it in a bench vise and straighten it out. youll also have to put a bend in it and i bolted a small bracket to it to make it sturdier (see pics)

where its secured near the filter.. i just put a small bracket there and ziptied it areound the intake. its ghetto but its sturdy enough.

the pics! (sorry.. cell phone only.. im lazy)

my filter wont be here for a couple days.. im sure this one will fit. a bigger one might, but this one will be fine.

also working on a box to isolate the filter..

id expect the same gains as with an rb intake.. if not more since the tube before the MAF is longer with my design.. but im only half certain that matters. i do know that it revs faster at idle (i slapped a filter i had laying around on and tested it out in my garage).. anyways have fun!

one cool thing about how ive got it set up. the filter isnt resting on the body.. its just floating but its secured.
