Everyone is biased of their own machine.

Everyone is biased of their own machine. However, based on fact, my 1990 Miata is the best car ever built.

I have named it "Sudden, the Cobra killer" it has been swapped, built and boosted, with an estimated 240 hp at the wheels

It does zero to sixty mph in 4.8 seconds

Welcome, There are a few of us other Miata owners who also have Miatas with a little more than stock HP on this site.

Nice car but...I don't think you'd kill a Cobra. You might run neck and neck with a weak 302.

Welcome! Boost is always cool! Other modifications?

You must have some pretty good rubber and suspension to get it to hook and 0-60mph in 4.8 seconds, not impossible but certainly not easy with irs. I'd like to see a dyno because 240whp at 10psi on a modest size turbo is impressive on these motors.

I have to agree with wannafbody though, depending on what year Cobra you are referring too. When someone says Cobra the first one that comes to mind is the 01-03 SVT Cobra and the 03 did 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds and covered the 1320 in 12.2 seconds and they pull STUPID hard!

As far as the thread title, this is true but there are ALOT of cool, well executed miatas out there and I'm sure plenty that not many have common knowledge of.

He's probably talking about a 98 Cobra and not the Terminator. Terminator is wickedly quick, I race one on my old 1000rr and even though I won, the Terminator was still very very impressive especially of the line. The 04 Cobra is one of my favorites. Anyways, welcome OP 240hp on a Miata is more than enough power.

I was thinking Cobra kit car since they are so light but Mustangs are easily modded for additional power.

240 whp is very impressive with that setup you got there. Interested to see a dyno graph. You can't have the greatest miata without a real roll bar.

    Welcome.

Oh, the AC Cobra replica? maybe with a 302 but not anything bigger. I had a 92 Miata with similar whp before and it was quick of the line, but only with my sticky Hoosier A6 and a full tank of gas as traction was a big problem. I sold that car after I replaced the diff/tranny LoL...I'm happy with 150-200whp on a miata.

I will do a build log soon. It still is a work in progress, I am not sure if it will ever be done. There is still tuning to be done. I only have it at 10 psi, at this moment because there was a lot of engine knock at 18 psi. My end goal is a reliable 15 psi for daily commuting.
