    remove these parts (front and back)

    remove 4 allen screws holding the kg works panel to the OEM shroud

    pivot shift lamp will be installed where the "high" headlamp indicator is

    at the back you'll be able to remove the indicator by unscrewing the bolt shown here

    now disassemble the pivot shift lamp

    looks exactly where it should be

    run the wire at the back of the panel

    assemble back the whole instrument panel

    Have you thought about tapping it into the backside wires of the cigarette lighter so you still have use of that for cell phone etc?

    I've tried wiring it to the back side of the cigarette lighter, the module does not work so brought it back to this configuration
    MIATA...incredibly fun to drive - as that is its only purpose for being.

    Did you tried flipping the polarity after not working? LEDs (contrary to conventional bulbs) are polarity specific.

    No need for the lighter as smoking is bad for your health anyways Atty. Plus too much smog already in Manila. LOL

    Good thinking on this Marlon. Is this one of those component that tells you when to shift?

    I just use the cigarette lighter anyway to plug in my volt meter.

    Yes you can set the shift points at whichever RPM you want. It now looks like the BRZ/86 shift light where it is integrated in the gauge panel
