    Minor updates:
    Good Evening CR,

Just a few updates. I picked up this Nardi Steering wheel along with a NRG short Hub. It was a bit difficult to install because I wanted my clock spring to be functional. The copper plate and plastic piece were removed so I could wire up my horn.

    A few problems that occured:
    - The Nardi steering wheel's bolt pattern does not match up with the NRG short hub. In order for the hub to work with the steering wheel, I needed to purchase a adapter from NRG. ($22 on ebay)

-The screws that Nardi supplied were too long and did not hold the steering wheel in place. The solution for that? I used my extra screws that I got from Garage Star awhile back.

    - I thought I wired the horn incorrectly but the problem is the horn itself. I have power going from the inside to the engine bay and the relay is fine (clicks when the horn button is pressed).

Picked up a set of CarShop Glow Turn signals. Very fancy.

Happy Veterans' Day! Today I was able to work on the miata for a few hours. I started a new project on the wheels and it's turning out great so far.

What's different? Well, I stripped the white from the CCW's. I figured I do something different since it looks close to matt_man's miata. hillyb:.

Polished not applied.. sanded from 1500 to 2000 grit then to 3000 grit.

    After applying some Mother's polish.

Yes, there are some white left in between the spokes...

    Test fitment..

Don't mind the wheel gap... lol..

So far I completed only 2 wheels. I will continuing the rest in a few hours. It's time for a bbq break.

Here are a few random front end shots:

I also purchased real HKS super air flow air filter from a miata owner. Thank you for the deal!

Hey everyone. It's been awhile since I posted something. I've been busy with school and been putting the Miata aside. Anyways, updates!

I was able to pick up a Hardtop from a really nice elderly lady for a good price. Original color and original latches. According to her, the hardtop sat for awhile and literally had 100 miles.

One day leaving work, I was about to merge into a lane but there was a Ford F-150 speeding down the hill. I had to stomp on my brakes (due to the person not giving me way) and the splitter dug into the pavement. The splitter caved in and ended up ripping my bumper in half and cracking the paint. I am glad the lip wasn't as damaged. Right now, I am not using the splitter.

In the beginning of the year, I picked up a new set of rims from a seller on Craigslist. He was very rude. He clearly said, "I am sad that I am selling these wheels, but I am not happy that it will be on a Miata *shakes head."

Wheels were stretched with 195/45s and 175/50s. That explains the curbs on the wheels.

    If my calculations are correct,
Fronts are 15x8+14.95 (I am running spacers to fill the gap.) 2" lip
    Rears are 15x10 -4.1 3.5" lip
    BBS RS033

I swapped my 225/45 hankook Rs3 tires onto it. They fit nicely.

Lastly, I finally picked up a set of coilovers for a very very good price. No leaks but the rear bump stops needs to be replaced. Not a problem.

+ I will buy a new set of flares sometime this year. Possibly the new rocket bunny flares that rev9 offers.
+ rebuild and powdercoat the bbs wheels
+paint the front lip, hardtop, carbon Miata roof wing, rocketbunny flares
    +CF gv panel
+create a new splitter or "skid plate"
    +sway bars, alignment, differential bushings
