    Tires for my 15x8's

I currently have 175/55/15s on my 15x8's and i need some wider tires for my 0 offset 15x8's... im wanting something like 225/45 or 215/45 cause i dont want a huge sidewall. Does anyone know any good tires that are that size or if you have any tires please let me know, thanks!

Rs3/R1R are your only real options worth getting in 225. Neither are going to be terribly DD wear friendly.

Yes. 205/50 tires will also work with a x8. Lots of options there.

I recommend a 205/40 over a 205/50 depending on the condition of your fenders and to what extent you'd like to destroy them. The zero offset isn't doing you any favors.

I ran 215/45/15 T1Rs on my 15x8s and loved them, but I'm not sure they are still available. I bought 225/45/15 RS3s for my 15x9s but have not had a chance to use them yet.

I would seriously stick to a 205 or under. You would need major fender work with anything wider then that. Also you mentioned being pretty low, which is awesome for looks, but if your really going to get into auto X you should consider raise up your rig. It will perform ten fold over being very low auto X wise. Also with added height a you could possibly fit 225 , if your already rolled.

As for tires it depends on how much street versus auto X your going to be doing. Heres a few choices to look into.
All the below are at least available in 205/50/15 and other sizes as well.

    Falken Azenis 615k
    Ventus RS3
    Toyo RA1
Toyo R888 ( if your baller)
    Potenza RE-11
    Maxxis MA-Z1

So far i havent had any trouble with auto-x but i have cut my bumpstops some also, im not slammed but i have 12.5" from fender to center of hub

I've never seen one. People are just tire illiterate and make up sizes sometimes.

Not saying that I'm tire articulate or anything, but around this time last year I was at a tire shop weighing 205/40/15 nankangs against 195/45/15 federal ss595's for my 15x8+0's (went with the 195/45 coming from a set of 205/50's).

But I take it back anyway, since he's at 12.5 hub to fender and willing to get flares he should just go with the 225's. I was expecting with the 15x8 +0 wheels and claiming to be "pretty low" he was in a position for a lot of tire -> fender contact and he'd want something that actually fit.

I'm rockin 205/50 on my 15x8+0 and they work... but it's not really slam friendly. Everytime I hit a dip I shave some tire off this is with pulled and rolled fenders.
