I use a NRG 2.5, but also Rev9 has the WB Ver 2 on sale for 299 I believe.

I had the NRG ver2.5 before and it worked well, now I am running a Worksbell Rapfix II. To be honest they both work very well so you can't go wrong with either.

Just a little bit of warning, do not get the NRG short hub for the Miata, the part will not work without irreversible modification. I would recommend a Daikei or WB hub, I am personally running the WB short hub.

Good to note, since the NRG QR is pretty much a straight copy of the WB the NRG wheel lock works on the WB QR as well.

I have had a NRG short hub and NRG quick release version 2.0 for over 2.5 yrs and would definitely recommend for it's quality and price. The "irreversible mod" that WillyWongka is referring to has to do with the clock spring but there a few ways around it. I did what i thought/think is the simplest solution and that was to tuck the oem clock spring under the steering column.

I've been using a Works Bell QRS (Rapfix I, I guess, before the redesign) for a couple years now. Love it, no complaints here. Probably remove/replace my steering wheel 2 or 3 times a day, everyday, and it's still perfectly solid. It looks like it's been out of production for a while though...

In all honesty i think the Works is worth it but i didn't have or want to spend what the Works cost at the time but if/when the NRG needs to be replaced i will more than likely upgrade.

I use a NRG short hub along with the NRG quick release. The problem with the larger hubs and quick release combo is it brings the wheel closer to you and make it harder to use turn signals because fingers won't reach the lever. I cut the wires off my clock spring to accommodate my hub and my horn works perfectly and my turn signals work as they are suppose to. As far as returning back to stock well I have done so many other mods to my car its never going to see stock form again. Here is a pic of my setup.
