Oh my! WANT!
I have had problems with Warbird's battery off and on pretty much the whole time I have had Warbird but especially in the past year and I couldn't in good conscience sell it with a problem that could leave the new owner stranded. So I went and picked one up tonight.....at first glance it looks like any other battery.....
......but look a little closer....
....It is pretty neat that a aftermarket parts manufacturer uses "MIATA" for the part number on the battery. Goes to show just how influential this little roadster had been on the automotive world.

These are a part I wanted for YEARS and YEARS, but Moss kept bumping the price. I finally got some used ones and was less than impressed despite all the great reviews people gave. The light pattern is ok, but in my experience
-despite the buckets being heavy steel, they are flimsy
-the buckets and hardware rust easily
-the wiring is total crap. They can't even be bothered to include connectors for the bulbs. At the price, there should be weather proof PNP connectors with relays.
- they are really hard to adjust
- the mounting for the headlight lids could have been way better.
- the sliding mechanism is noisy and could potentially cause wobble
I'm curious if others had the same thoughts about them.

Interstate uses the part # MX-5...
Now on to stuff that makes me sad and happy.
Received a package from Chad today. ( Head down and hat off to Warbird. RIP! )
But I know this nut, whom has tolerated me from my arrival, will be back! Thanks for the chance to put a piece of Warbird on Noir. But you know this is going black before final install.
@Stealth97: I have really liked my Cobalt low pros and maybe my expectations are lower but really have no complaints. Of course mine came pre wired with heavier gauge wiring, wired with the Revlimiter quad light high beam mod and was pnp but Track Dog Racing put the wiring together for the previous owner.
@NCGreasemonkey: Great that it arrived safe and sound! Guess i shouldn't have bothered going over it with a sander. I always clean up parts before shipping anyways so...

Thanks for sharing your observations Stealth97. At the time of posting the pic I didn't give them more than a cursory glance and apart from being very dusty and a bit dirty, the only issue I spotted was the corroded hardware (nuts & bolts) and that a mount bracket was slightly bent.
Following your post I thought I'd take a closer look and must say I'm quite happy with what I saw. My take on it is that the metal is heavy gauge for the application and the construction is robust and well finished. The wiring appeared in good condition with plugs intact. Nuts and bolts are corroded but a few $$$ will sort that out with stainless. Of course I can't comment on fitting or actual lighting performance as they're not on the car yet, but I'll update once I get to that. The quad light mod is pretty simple and likely a good path.
FWIW, mine are I.L. Motorsports.
@NCGreasemonkey: Looks good to me Rick, just double check under the car to make sure the two holes line up with the bolts for the subframe brace before riveting together.
