Interesting. What cars used the shift pattern sticker? 91SE with Nardi shift knob? I ask because I just spent modest sum to get a M2-1028 shift pattern decal from Japan. It'd be neat to find out if the decals were one and the same.

It seems logical that the sticker was included on cars that did not have the shift pattern on the knob. But I'm not 100% certain.

I bought it to cover a hole in the center console that I'm going to fill. I'm assuming I won't get it perfect so the sticker will hide my shame. However the sticker is smaller than I hoped it would be so I may end up needing a larger sticker or finding a nicer center console.

I'm planning out my the suspension re-work between my three Miatas. So far, my red '91 will be set up with stock 1999 Bilstiens Hard S, shock and springs. One BRG (WASABI) will get Spec Miata Bilstiens w/Ground Control sleeves running 450lb F and 375lbs R springs. The other BRG will get a set of 1999 Bilstiens Hard S with eBay coil over sleeves and softer springs, 350lb F and 250lb R.

Good question, not sure. I bought them off the forum last year. They are pillow ball mount. This pair will be going in the back of SHINTO. I'm looking for a little more travel on my aggressive street set up.

I have a question to throw out to the suspension gurus...

I have had my 93LE Bilsteins completely re-built/re-valved to work specifically with my FM MK1 springs. To that I've added 5xRacing top hats on all four corners and this suspension will go on one of my LEs sitting on 15x9 6ULs.

My question is this - will my car sit so low as to rub the inside of the fender lips and should I get coilover sleeves to allow me to raise the car to prevent this? Or, will the car sit high enough where I won't have this issue?

350/250 is what I plan to run on my NB2 as well, 7" long springs with helpers. What lengths do you plan on running? Also what ride height?

Not a guru by any means, but from my research I know that moving from NA top hats to flat-style ones (NB or aftermarket) will drop you around half an inch.

If you need to raise your ride height, you can always use a spacer to either space the spring from the top hat, or the top hat from the body. Also, take care with bumpstop lengths, your bumpstop should be the only positive stop in your system

I had to put my coilovers on to fit my Jongbloeds 15x9.
I had to roll a bit to fit them with 225s
The only rubbing i have now, is against the Big Red sway bar at full lock.

I have fat cat NAs with GC adjusters short bumps 500/375# springs no bottoming out.
I played with NB Billies eBay adjusters and springs. The issue was I could not get the rears low enough so I had to have a second groove cut about an inch and a half lower. After that they adjusted fine. Added the ISC taller top hats and it was even better, I was concerned about the shock rod bottoming out. The issue with those hats was that ther rubbed on the upper shock rod, but they rode well and were adjustable for ride height.

(*NOT AN EXPERT*)but, in my experience, there are many different ways to skin this cat. You would get the most flexibility with coil over sleeves, but you can also play with spring rates and spring size too. I'm running 6" springs up front, and 7 inch in the rear. I think you would get a small drop from your FM MK1 springs, and the 5xRacing top hats, but again, you will have no further flexibility after that. You may have to run spacers if you don't want your wheels to rub.

Please keep up posted on the results. I have a set of 99 Hard-S with Hard-S Springs, deciding if I should run those or build out coilovers. Please let me know which eBay set up you go with.

    Thanks!
