I have had my 93LE Bilsteins completely re-built/re-valved to work specifically with my FM MK1 springs. To that I've added 5xRacing top hats on all four corners and this suspension will go on one of my LEs sitting on 15x9 6ULs.

My question is this - will my car sit so low as to rub the inside of the fender lips and should I get coilover sleeves to allow me to raise the car to prevent this? Or, will the car sit high enough where I won't have this issue?
I have read about this set-up when I was doing some research. The possible issue would be rubbing on the springs as OEM size spring diameter are bigger. Coilovers are typically smaller in spring diameter. So if you go lower the chances of hitting springs is likely. I am likewise looking if my AFCO coilover springs will clear a 15x9 since the springs ID is 2.75 and most springs are 2.5". But then again the FM springs does lower the NA that much if IIRC. So you may need a coilover not only to clear the springs but also to tuck those wide rims in. Just my 2 cents.

    Thank you!

The oil cap is the 'RM Vintage Simplicity Oil Cap' from Retro Modern: http://www.retromodernusa.com/?produ...licity-oil-cap

I think that it was originally a short run part, but he is making them full time now. I paid about $44 USD.

The cap is just plain beautiful. I love the slight dome to the top of it. I saw some people hacking old Jag caps to get this look, but here it is brand new. It is almost a sin that it will be under the hood. (Maybe I will cut a hole in the hood so I can see it!

RM was great to deal with, excellent customer service. I highly recommend them and plan to buy more for myself!

Go full out Porsche, tilt the engine to the left so the oil cap would be centered, and chop the hood. It will be interesting.

Just replaced the slave, master, and added a stainless line for the clutch. Nice little kit from planet miata. Definitely time for a new slave
