And the M-tuned goodies from 949 arrived.
Why? I'm getting lazier in my old age and never want to install a thermostat on the back of the head. No adapter and KIA housing to fight. Out in the open. And transferable to the next, calmer, project if Noir gets pregnant and has double the cylinders.

Finally managed to convince a fellow Miata collector to sell me his 350mm MOMO Veloce steering wheel, made in 1990. This was the same steering wheel a lot of M2-1001 owners would swap out their wheels with since it's a smaller diameter.
He sent along a care package of all kinds of JNC goodies too!!!
He also included this huge magnetic JNC Roundel too, this will look great on the fridge or toolbox. Nice!! The magnetic Roundel is super exclusive. Only the rally participants and a couple Mazda execs / R&D have them.
Today I received the CarbonMiata Quad LED rear panel assembly.
I really like the design and it will help take my Miata in the direction I want it to go.
I knew I would need to do some filling, blending, smoothing etc. however I did not think that I would need to reform corners, create sharper edges, and other similar defects around the panel.
Maybe my expectations were too high.
I guess I will need to learn how to add and form fiberglass to my panel...

Not today. But Friday filed a claim with UPS for the damaged belt moldings that arrived at my door.
Why even deliver something that looks like this on arrival? The worst part is the crease in the tube lined up perfectly with the narrow section of molding that forms around the rear metal brace for the triangle window. #heartbroken
