    Pfhhhttthh!

Want to be a respectful racer. Too old for tickets, complaining neighbors and drama like the days of old. On the track or at the meet. Not the 120+'s on two-lanes and finding a Yugo stopped for a left turn.

Today the splitter trim, that I forgot to order, arrived. With a hat from Track Dog! Thanks gang!
I will say that I have no pics. of it in box because I installed it. And that is a chore with old eyes and hands. But I will try to let you in on what worked for me this week-end on this task. I need more photos to clarify.

    But it is on.

Wow, you sure packaged it well. Thanks for everything NCGreasemonkey!

So I am thinking... Black stripe across the car as mentioned in the Manticore build to end at the base of the wing. The base of the wing will be painted black to match the stripe. Then have the upper wing stay white as it is.
Add the same black stripe at the center of the white upper wing.

Set it off with some white Manticore logos on the outside on each outer side of the black wing base.

It used to be. And I worked in the fields pulling their product.

But times change... Man do they!

Reynolds America ( as RJR is now globally known ) bought Lorilard <sic> to gain control of the Newport brand. With that purchase the FTC made it quite clear that RA would have to release the WINSTON brand to another company. So now my 'Winston's' look like this.

And are shipped to me from Greensboro. Brokered buy a British company if I remember right.

The Surgeon General has beat it into your head that your pecker will fall off, your vagina will fill with warts and you will DIE with one puff of a cigarette. I don't condone smoking! I had the ORIGINAL nicotine patch of holding the wet morning leaves under my arm as I harvested them. Patch in reverse you might say.

Mods. don't think I was going all off-topic. Just replying to a comment. Was hoping to have the Borla installed in the drive pics. now. But thunderheads keep rolling across my work area.

    My luck.

Just remember that the air-foil is brushed aluminum under that white paint. Options abound when you think of wheel matching the air-foil. Brushed, anodized or repainted. But the color matches your car well as is from the pics..

It's your car so of course do as you please. But IMO if you're going with the Mazdaspeed Aero Kit Type II wing there is a thin line between doing it right and doing it wrong. The clean 1990s period correct look is coming back into fashion and when done well is absolutely spot on. But the details are critical. The closer to looking like a factory demo/ catalog car, winning racer or magazine feature car of that era the better. Right now the panda look is not in fashion and two-tone paint jobs in general are tough to pull off. Maybe in another 10 years the panda will rise again. Like everything else, fashion moves in cycles.
