His PM box was full during the move. He is going back thru them and contacting people. You can try shooting him a new PM. As this purchase was spun-off another inquiry.

Lol no I know. We're friends on Facebook. He lost the piece back then but has recently found it and is just waiting to grab it from his shop.

2016 What did you get for your NA Miata ?

This past spring I had contacted “xcoldricex” to look at the Flyin Miata engine and transmission that he had for sale. The engine and transmission was still in his Miata that he was planning to part out. I drove to see it. The car was in Ann Arbor, Michigan which is about an hour away.

Xcoldricex was under a time crunch because he was moving to Texas for a job and was looking for some assistance to get the Miata parted out. Well it turned out that “xcoldricex” graduated from our community and he still has parents that live here. Heck, my wife remembers him when she was a bus driver. Everyone says he was a great kid. So my wife and I said we should help him out. At the same time, I would get a little schooling on how a Miata is screwed together.
So we cut a deal and I brought his Miata to my house to be parted out.

The part out was now in motion.

Not much remaining… Making our Miata’s more valuable one part out at a time!

Here is the Flyin Miata engine waiting for a future refresh and a Flyin Miata turbo kit somewhere down the road unless I decide to take the Manticore build another direction.

    Oh you fellow nut-case...

Both you and I have mentioned FI and V-8's in our build threads. Along with numerous others in their search for bang-for-buck. And the red pill just has us following where our Miata lead us.

What came in the mail today? New Koyo radiator courtesy of @goodwinracing. I know everyone loves crossflow triple pass radiators for their high horsepower turbocharged track monsters, especially in hot climates. But my car is a 150hp naturally aspirated (mostly) street car that will only ever see 20 min HPDE sessions at most so this down-flow should be more than fine. I decided it was easiest to stick with what I had before for plug-n-play compatibility with my stock fans and custom coolant reroute hard pipe. My previous Koyo lasted 10 years. I expect to get another decade out of this one. It's even got a more efficient "Hypercore" now with greater fin density than before. Contrary to Brian's ad copy on the website, it isn't made in Japan. Box says made in Indonesia.

I also got 4 new 949Racing SuperMiata sway bar end links to replace the rusty ones on my car. I got 5 years out of the old ones before the heim jones rusted and seized to the rod body making them impossible to adjust the length. Not bad all things considered. Car never saw salt or snow but did see rain and were never adjusted once set to their initial position. I think if they were regularly adjusted and lubricated with a quality anti-seize this wouldn't have happened. New end links were prompted by me going from FM NA6 to RB NA8 front sway bar and going from FM NA6 to OEM NA8 rear sway bar.
