I drove mine today, after 23 days of driving a Ford Transit. 3+ tons of weight plus a lazy as f%$k 145hp gasoline engine converted to LPG made my standard 1.6 Miata feel like a damn fast go-kart!

Thanks, I'm rather in love with it, so far. It's amazing how the heat rolls out of those vents when the car is stopped.

I need to decide on whether I want clear or orange side winkers, then get them, so that I can have a front-end throwdown. Fender braces, winkers, and headlight refreshing. Not sure what else I should do whilst the fenders and bumper are off. Maybe a louder horn would be nice. Any suggestions?

They're just sitting in a box. I've been hesitant to do them, since pulling the fenders, means pulling the side skirts, which seems like a PITA. I'm thinking about a set of retromodern's side winkers, but I'm not quite sure they'd look right. Maybe too retro.

I too am afraid to pull the fenders to install the braces (which is ridiculous since I'm a body guy by trade) I just don't want to mess with it in all honesty. I've really considered adding winkers as well.

My car has been sitting for a month now, just haven't had the time to drive it and it's stupid hot. I'm hoping that getting the hardtop finished up in a few weeks will renew my interest in the car.

Spent the morning this morning hooking up the VVTuner into the DIYPNP and happy to report, I now have working VVT in my '99 Miata with a JDM VVT YO! Motor! Need to go for a drive to do some tuning.
