    Hello from Germany

Hi, I just picked up my 2008 NC Roadster. After having owned British sports cars for more than 35 years I'was getting tired of hitting my head underneath an oil dripping car and decided to go for the fun.
I'm a Dutch guy, living in Germany and after having sold the Austin Healey 100/6 I owned for 15 years I set my mind on a 2008 Miata Roadster in Niseko spec in Ice Blue, which I found near Cologne with under 30K Miles in as good as new condition.
In recent years I've driven lots of other convertibles and roadsters, but no modern car is such good fun as an MX5, not even a Jag XKR, really.

The Miata is for our leisure time, so now with some snow and lots of salt on the roads it stays nice and cosy in the garage, where I just today exchanged the cupholders in the centreconsole for the spacier storage tray.

I heard about this forum from a friend who dislikes Miata's, but likes the friendly way Miata owners share their thoughts and experience about the car and driving it.

That is one sexy looking ride my friend! Welcome to the forum!!! My cousin was stationed in germany and all she brought back was a BMW.

Keep us posted with what happens while she is protected in the garage. You cannot resist the urge to buy add-on's for her.
