Angry Help! NOS wrecked Miata motor!

I was trying to help a local club member with getting more power out of his Miata on a budget so I remember seeing a NOS fuel additive that should have given an immediate nitro boost like those Street Outlaw guys on TV but without all those expensive braided lines and purge valves. Instead, it ran so-so and then sputtered and died outside a local biker bar.

I think the problem is that we didn't adjust the timing to account for the loads of boost we're supposed to be getting so before it gets too late, I need to ask everyone if we can just advance timing all the way and then add like ten more bottles of NOS for even more power?

I only have a couple of before picts but more to come at the dyno:

I was very careful to pour it all in without spilling any on the fender
