    New Member from Alaska

Greetings fellow Miata fans, I'm a new member from the Anchorage Alaska area. I bought a 99 black Miata 10 years ago and it's become a family member. Its license plate is PLUMA (in Spanish, a gust of wind, or a polite term for a "little fart".) It now has about 78K on it.

I'm a retired police chief who likes to spend time turning his own wrenches. PLUMA is in the garage until April or so when it thaws out. I look forward to learning from all of you.

Welcome Jon! I hope your garage is heated up there!

P.S. I thought pluma meant pen.

    Welcome to the forum.
I remember a few years ago Road & Track doing a feature story on Miata enthusiasts in Alaska.
Do you know any of the guys in that article?
