The problem with most low profile headlamps is the front bumper cuts off the beam pattern, creating a big shadow directly in front of you. So most low profile lamps are a compromise for looks and provide bare minimum performance. The Jet Stream headlamps solve this problem with a deeper headlamp bucket that cuts into the front bumper. The Body Shop Hyashi lights solve this problem by raising them up above the bumper.
