Front Suspension Clanking and Clicking Noises?????????

Selective (not all the time) clicking and clanking noise.......

    1. Certain bumps, road markers/reflectors and other imperfections.

    2. When I come off the driveway on first gear.

    3. Coming off reverse.

    History.......from last week.

    1. Had the car aligned and then I replaced all the front OEM eccentrics washers with that of Flyin' Miata/PACO Eccentric Locks.

    2. Replaced brake calipers, rotors and pads in all four corners.

    3. I bed the pads to the rotors as instructed then the morning after the noises became apparent.

What I have done.....sadly no relief.

I have loosen up the eccentric nuts twice already and torque them to spec 103 ft lb with the car weight on. And I also rechecked the torque on all bolts related to the brake install.

Funny is that other than the mysterious noise the car handles perfect as I have increased the ride height to F 12.5 and R 12.8 thus gave me room to soften the settings a bit. And the new brakes bits like a b!t(# LOL.

Any thought (am I missing something) before I replace the FM's eccentric locks back to OEM washers?

    Thanks in advance!!!

The noise just appear since the installation oc the new eccentric bolts? You are still on the AFCO's correct? They have a history of being noisy and this has been confirmed by Flyin Miata.

Still on AFCO yes. The noise is the swishing sound when I hit a bump or driveway ramp. But this clicking and clanking is something different Chad.
It may just be me but I just notice it after I installed the PACO eccentric locks and the BBK. So something I have missed along the way.

Pardon the old ears but the noises are emanating from the new Top-Locs I installed few days back. It is indeed a rattle lol.
