    Group D Hotlaps

Driving Laguna Seca is insane. I have hundreds if not thousands of laps logged around here in iRacing and Assetto Corsa, not to mention Gran Turismo from childhood, but nothing prepares you from driving it in real life.

    Truly unforgettable experience.

Video from my fastest lap (slow) at the bottom.

GotBlueMilk photos from the hotlap sessions.

    Sunday cont'd.

Highlight of my Sunday was being a passenger in the turbo Chikara NA6. Even though the car struggled with overboost, and had to cut the session short, I caught a glimpse of how a proper Roadster should feel around here.

My man Tom signing some stuff and Corey making sure the patrons keep it together.

Adam doing his thing in the booth.

That's pretty much a wraps up the weekend, as far as on-track activities went. Packed up and said farewell to Laguna Seca.

Really love the night time shots, what film did you use here? They have a great feel to them!

The trip didn't end there though. My dad and I got to spend some quality time down by the coast. Beautiful views, and fantastic roads that he got to enjoy as well.

Monterrey is a beautiful town. Hopefully we'll come back here someday (definitely on a plane.)

That was Cinestill 800 - the good stuff.

The MRLS photos are mainly Superia 400 but there's expired Gold 400 in there somewhere.

Oh bugger. Depending on your forum settings, there's probably a page change here. Make sure to go back to page 15 and check out Pete's mini-feature!

Thanks! I'll have to give Cinestill 800 a try, I had a lot of expired Gold and Superia to hand but I've never worked with Cinestill before.
Maybe when I'm ready for my next NC update I'll get some!

What a cool group of guys - KINOD. Don't underestimate how fun it is hanging out with these gents till 1am in some random strip mall lot. Thank you! See you again.
Such a great trip and was a pleasure to show you some local hospitality!

And thanks for the awesome update/ photos of the pilgrimage to Mecca. Still gutted that I missed the last MRLS but it almost feels like I was there as I rekindle years of great memories from that trip!

Hopefully the current global situation is resolved by October, and we're able to meet again at the Miata Reunion Road Atlanta event!

Couple of months ago I decided to go in a slightly different direction with the car. Hopefully there's more on that to come in the summer.

In December I installed a set of Circuit Sports 20mm spacers. The wheels are now effectively offset to 7j -1.

The car was also lowered to 4"F/4.125"R.
